March pop up shop - We believe that fashion shouldn't cost the earth.

The appetite for change is in the air. Change is in. We are being encouraged to change this, that and the other. Change is good for us. Climate change. Political change. Economic change. Change our habits. Change our behaviour. Change our attitudes. Change overload....

Today one of the strongest motivators for change is the drive to save our planet from the ravages of the climate crisis. The Irish government declared a climate emergency in April 2019. The government’s plan is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. What positive change can we make that is achievable, worthwhile and linked to reducing carbon emissions in our everyday lives? Something that is not dependent on government legislation or economic fines. Greenpeace tells us that doubling the useful life of clothing from one year to two years reduces emissions over the year by 24%. Extending the life of clothing by a further 9 months would reduce carbon, waste and water footprints by around 20-30% each. The message coming to us is loud and clear: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repeat. Apply that wisdom to fashion shopping and we need to seriously consider changing to buying pre-loved/second-hand instead of always buying new.

At Again with love we believe that fashion should not cost the earth. We invite shoppers to visit us at our pop up shop venues, to browse through our high quality pre-loved clothes and accessories. Shopping pre-loved helps to extend the life cycle of each garment, keeping high quality pieces in circulation and avoiding an early end to their life in a landfill.

We bring our brand of sustainable fashion to you as we pop up in different towns and cities. Our March pop up shop opens in City Square Shopping Centre, Waterford city’s on Thursday 12th, Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of March 2020. We are excited about opening in Waterford’s main shopping centre for four days.

Don’t miss out, see you in City Square, Waterford city!
